KBC
is an iconic reality show where a huge amount of money is offered to
contestants. People all over India want to participate in this show to live up
to their dreams of becoming rich by answering the questions. However, the
success of this show has also drawn the attention of scammers. They try to trap
people and then loot amounts from their bank accounts in different ways. Be
aware of such scammers and don't trust anyone except the KBC official team.
We've
many examples where fraudsters tried to trap people using KBC's name. Kavita
and her family became the victim of these scammers, and they belong to
Nalasopara, Mumbai. She received a fake call where the other person said he is
calling from the KBC game show. He said that she has won Rs 25 lakh and became the KBC lottery winner of the season
12. Kavita and her family considered it
real and fell into the trap.
They
eagerly started waiting for the day when the winning amount of Rs 25 lakh will
be transferred into their bank account. Meanwhile, the caller imposed a
condition of depositing some amount as a tax deduction. All this happened so
perfectly that Kavita took it real. In the hope of Rs 25 lakh, they deposited
Rs 3.65 lakh is given accounts.
After
some days, Kavita and her family came to know that it all was a scam. All calls
and messages were not real, and there was no such KBC lottery. To win Kavita's trust,
scammers sent many video content via WhatsApp to ensure that the lottery is
from the official KBC game show. The most shocking thing is that all numbers
were international, and the money was asked to be deposited in bank accounts of
different countries.
This money was important for Kavita and her family to meet their needs. Her husband was suffering from a brain tumor, and he needed this money most for his treatment. It is not the first scamming case using the name of the KBC game show. Therefore, you need to be careful before sharing any details with others. If you receive such calls, dial the Jio KBC head office number to ensure the situation.
