Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) is India's
biggest iconic quiz show, hosted by Bollywood superstar, Amitabh Bachchan. This
popular game show has completed its 11 seasons with a huge fan base. But, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it's not
possible to held KBC 2020 with a huge audience. So, the management has decided
to make this show completely digital.
Online registration for KBC season 12
has been started from 9 May 2020. Host Amitabh Bachchan asks questions for
the registration round at 9:00 pm on Sony Entertainment. Keep in mind,
registration for the popular quiz show is opened till 22 May 2020. Every night
at 9:00 pm, Amitabh Bachchan will ask a new question, and the audience can
answer these questions either using the SonyLiv app or via SMS.
How
to participate in using SMS?
Participants all over India can answer
the questions using SMS. All they just need to type the message in following
format: KBC <space> <A/B/C/D> <age> <space>
<gender> and send it to 509093. All those people who have Airtel, Idea,
Jio, BSNL, and Vodafone connections can opt for an SMS facility.
How
to participate in using the SonyLiv app?
First of all, download the SonyLiv app
from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. After downloading the app,
enter your email address and valid phone number. Your mobile number should be
registered with the Indian service provider. Now, select the age from the given
options. People above 18 will be considered to participate in KBC 2020.
Moreover, fill in details such as gender, qualification, and more as per
requirements.
Following this, select your zone as per
the given options:
- Mumbai, Delhi
- Gujrat, Daman and Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli
- Rest of Maharashtra (except Mumbai), Goa
- Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, and Rajasthan
- Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Jharkhand
- West Bengal, Odisha, Assam, Sikkim, and North East
- Rest of India
After filling these details, select your
answer option (A/B/C/D) for the given question to complete the registration
process. Once the registration is completed, a message saying, 'Thank you for
completing your KBC registration', will appear on the screen.
It is for the very first time that KBC
auditions are conducting online via the SonyLiv app. After auditions, the
shortlisted participant will give personal interviews via video calls.
Moreover, in season 12, there will be KBC lottery winner and KBC WhatsApp winner too.
